Professor Cyril Ayodele Ajayi, born on October 27, 1952, in Efon Alaye
Ekiti, Nigeria, is a distinguished academic and professional in Estate
Management.

He earned his B.Sc. in Estate Management from the University
of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU) in 1974, followed by an MSc
from the University of Reading (1978) and a PhD from OAU (1990). Joining
OAU in 1976, he rose to become a Professor in 1998. Over his career, he
held leadership roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Environmental
Design and Management, and contributed to establishing the Surveying and
Geoinformatics Department.

A mentor to many, Prof. Ajayi has supervised numerous PhD theses, with
many of his mentees becoming professors. His textbooks and publications
have advanced real estate education nationally and internationally.

An ordained pastor and dedicated family man, he exemplifies integrity,
humility, and academic excellence.
